World Patient Safety Day (September 17, 2025) is a global initiative from the World Health Organization (WHO) focusing on high quality healthcare for children. The theme ‘patient safety from the start’ calls for early, consistent action to safeguard children’s health and development.
The WHO is encouraging everyone — from parents to policymakers — to take responsibility for safer paediatric care.
