BBMRI.pl: PORT for Health – Oncology 2022 conference

Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development in Wrocław, Poland, the headquarters of the BBMRI.pl National Node and BBMRI.pl Consortium Leader, invites you to attend an international conference PORT for Health: Oncology. This will take place from 28-30 September 2022.

The conference will host top scientific leaders in oncology and comprise a range of scientific sessions focusing on the biological basis of cancer, new treatment strategies and modalities, and the latest achievements in tumour diagnostics.

The PORT for Health conference is hosted by  the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Center (LSnBC) at the Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development, a part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. The vision of the dynamically growing Life Sciences and Biotechnology Center at Łukasiewicz – PORT is to tackle the biggest challenges of modern medicine. Teams led by creative and experienced leaders carry out top-notch, translational research at this Center. The oncology branch of the Center studies the molecular and cellular basis of cancer, one of the most significant current health and socioeconomic problems.

PORT for Health is an annual conference series on life sciences that brings together scientists, medical practitioners, and industry professionals. The conference’s mission is to support interactions and knowledge exchange among the participants represented by scientists, clinicians, and industry representatives. This results in new ideas and inspiration that enable breakthrough solutions in medical biotechnology. Themes discussed at the meeting will include fundamental molecular mechanisms, the development of physiological models of human disease, search for new drug targets, and opportunities for novel targeted treatments in personalised medicine.
