WP3: Long-term sustainability measures for BBMRI addressing also RI landscape gaps

Objectives:

• Develop a draft 10-year vision&strategy plan towards “OneHealth in Biobanking” thereby addressing the potential wide use of BBMRI-ERIC generic tools for other sample and data sets (across health, environment, exposure, etc.), nationally and EU wide amongst RIs, and bridging different EU partnerships);
• Explore new strategies towards sustainability, i.e., generation of income from engagement with universities, private foundations and industry cooperation;
• Building on recently adopted BBMRI-ERIC Policy on membership of associate and third countries, develop targeted high value partnerships with third countries with the ultimate goal of observer/membership;
• Continuing enlarging theBBMRI-ERIC membership of remaining EU countries.
